Beautiful story, Nicci! Thank you so much for being Fekadu's voice to so many in the United States! wow! A beautiful testimony of God's love and provision and how He allows people to play a role in being the physical hands and feet of Christ to those around us!

It really is so very difficult to understand life on the streets. I've heard tons of stories but still cannot grasp it. So thankful that Fekadu has found hope through Christ. Now no matter what trials or hardships life throws his way he has the assurance that God will never leave him or forsake him. No longer a forsaken child on the streets of Addis Ababa but a child of the King with an eternal inheritance where the streets are made of gold!

I am giddy! Wow, God! He's awesome! I'm so glad that God doesn't rely on us having all the answers - He is SOOO much better at it. Wow. :) Love how He provides.

Thank you for sharing the update - this is fabulous and I cannot wait to see how it continues to unfold as God provides through the most unlikely channels - POCKET CHANGE! Awesome!

I'm so thankful that the staff gets a slower pace for at least a short period of time every year! So needed! They work so hard! A time when the staff can regroup, recharge, and be still to listen to the Lord's direction for the next rotation of programs!!!

Awesome Awesome Awesome post, Jonathan! Wow!
Such truth.... my heart was broken for the "least of these" - for widows and orphans starting specifically in November 2009... by June 2010 I was in Ethiopia with TFC, and again in Dec 2010, then serving on the board and advocating daily, then realizing that my city too needs people to be broken hearted for the things happening within it and challenging things like racism, human/sex trafficking... having a heart for the lost, desiring and working to help them experience the love of Christ. Awesome post... if we let Him, God can turn the heartbreakers into productive action for His Kingdom. So blessed that He allows us to play a small role in that process!

Seeing the "former" pictures of these two amazing boys whom I have come to know and love gives me the merest glimpse of what I looked like before God cleaned me up also. Thank you for sharing this truly life-changing, life-altering story with us. Merry Christmas! And a Healthy & Prosperous New Year.
Love always,
Liz Roberts

Thanks, Joe! This really warmed my heart and filled my soul! Christmas definitely means something more to me this year because of what God has shown me through Onesimus and TFC! I hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas!

The cookies were fabulous - forgot to take photos, but they were eaten by many at our Sunday School class Christmas party and also shared with our neighbors. Delish!
