Hello everyone! Thank you for praying for us each day. We have seen blessings from God in so many ways. Not to mention our power is back on.
Today, Liz led a powerful, interactive message on Red Sea Rule #6 “When unsure, just take the next logical step of faith.” She explained the difficulties the Israelites faced escaping Egypt. The kids participated in a demonstration of the parting of the Red Sea, and enjoyed it very much.
Next the kids had a ton of fun in “Art”, coloring rocks with inspirational words to remind them how much God loves them. In Fun & Games, the kids loved parachute play, led by Bradley. They also learned how to play hopscotch, four-square, hula hoop, jump rope and “Simon Says” from Meme. The fun filled activities ended with a Bible challenge from Joyce. Later in the afternoon, we took pictures of the city’s skyline, on the roof of Paradise restaurant. For dessert, we had a double macchiato.
For dinner, we went to Yod Abyssinia. It was a cultural experience with theatrical performances. Everything about the food and performance was different for me, including eating with our hands.
